Structural Stability Assessment

We evaluate various structural stability risks considering the construction site and your facility, and suggest loss prevention and risk management strategies.

There are four major areas to structural stability assessment consulting: new construction project, obsolete structure, large-scale extension or changes to the existing building or structure, and other applicable structures where structural stability assessment is needed.

New construction project

In addition to the structural stability assessment of a new construction project, we conduct structural analysis of temporary facility and review technical issue for construction stage, to identify risks and prevent accidents for the duration of the construction project.

Existing (deteriorated) structure

We inspect the structure for fractures, deflections and corrosions, and use non-destructive equipment to fully analyze the structural stability of the structure. As such, we evaluate the risk level of the facility and provide maintenance strategies.

Buildings with structural changes

We review the structural stability when any changes in the structural loads are made, due to extension, change of use or expansion of production lines. We use structural analysis simulation software to quantitatively assess the risks and provide safety improvement recommendations.

Buildings under extreme environment

We assess the structural stability under extreme conditions such as typhoon, earthquake, or explosion. We then provide loss prevention strategies for achieving higher level of wind resistant / seismic performance.
