Plan Review Consulting
Plan Review Consulting is a service that encompasses reviews of construction site, construction materials, fire protection systems, power stability and exposure to the natural hazards at the planning stage of a construction project. We support your optimal construction plan by applying domestic and international codes and engineering simulations.
We identify potential risks at the planning stage of a new construction project, and provide safety improvement recommendations. In doing so, we can prevent accidents, save costs on (re)building safety systems, and improve overall safety levels of the facility.
There are four modules to the Plan Review Consulting, which may be applied to new construction projects, extension or changes to an existing facility, or other projects that requires plan reviews.
- Natural hazards review for new construction site
- we evaluate natural hazards such as flood and earthquake risks of the new construction site using simulation tools, and recommend risk improvement strategies.
- Construction plan
- We review the fire resistance and flame resistance of the exterior and interior construction materials based on domestic and international codes. Also, we review fire compartment and evacuation routes, and provide safety improvement recommendations tailored to the occupancy of the facility.
- Fire protection adequacy
- we review the adequacy of fire pumps, sprinklers, foam systems, indoor hydrants and water spray systems, as well as gaseous protection systems (CO2 or Halon). Capacity and pressure of the systems and the details of design are reviewed for compliance to the domestic and international fire codes, and recommendations are provided.
- Power reliability
- we review the potential electrical risks to minimize the power outage risk, and evaluate the reliability of the emergency power supply system.
